Ukrainian based, we’re dramatically familiar with the affects of negative externalities on one’s quality of life. Unlike missiles, we believe most things can be controlled, prevented, and mitigated. That led us to building 01. A sustainable product company for modern work.
Concepted in Kyiv, Ukraine, we were looking for ‘computer glasses’ to help us fix our sleep and headaches after long days of continuous, strenuous, grinding. Only, out of all of the glasses and frames available, we could only find terrible quality, private labelled Chinese models rebranded by American brands. Poor lens quality and even poorer design aesthetic.
From that moment on, we decided that we should fill our own need, and build our own glasses. After 2 years of testing, we were finally able to bring our beautiful 01 frames to market, embarking on our project to manage the externalities around us.
